During 2009 and 2010, we Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate are celebrating two milestones in our history:
December 8, 2009 marked the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the American Province under the patronage of the Immaculate Conception.
And, during 2010, we will celebrate 75 years of ministry in the United States.
The celebration of this double jubilee will took place during the weekend of December 11-13, 2009, which was highlighted by a special Divine Liturgy of Thanksgiving and a gala banquet.
A Book of Remembrance is being prepared to commemorate this double Jubilee. Our commemorative book will include both a brief history and photos taken during all the celebrations marking this graced moment in our history: visits to parishes, the Divine Liturgy of Thanksgiving, the Banquet and the Jubilee Pilgrimage 2010. This treasure will be available in November 2010.
We invite you to join us in celebrating this momentous occasion by adding your name and a greeting to the commemorative book. You may wish to remember a loved one, recall your experience with the Sisters Servants, remember a particular Sister, share a simple greeting, or simply join in the celebration by adding your name to the book.
